Dental implant has three parts: main base, prosthesis and crown. Dental implant is a fixed mainstay for dentures. Dentures and bridges on dental implant are fixed and this is a positive point for better chewing food and speaking. Stable and strong bases help dentures and bridges and crowns to work properly.

Dental implant surgeries are performed in three methods: one-stage dental implants, two-stage dental implants and immediate loading dental implants. We recommend dental implant for some cases such as when the distance between teeth is more than one tooth or when more than one tooth is lost or when all teeth in one or two jaws are lost or for improving loose teeth.

Dental implants need care such as natural teeth. Dental implant is not in danger of decay such as natural teeth but microbes in oral cavity can damage the gum around the dental implant. Dental implant lifespan has no limitations. It depends on the skill of dentist and the type of dental implant. Dental implant is not recommended for patients with uncontrolled diabetics or high-dose radiation therapy.
